WEEKEND CLINIC WALK-IN POLICY
Because we care about our patients at the Pediatric Center of Round Rock and want your child to receive the best care possible, we are open 7 days a week and provide a weekend walk-in clinic for urgent care.
We offer weekend clinics to help parents avoid taking their child to the emergency room or an urgent care clinic as patients often must have unnecessary blood work and imaging because the ER & urgent care physicians do not have access to your child's medical history. We feel we can care for your child much better because we know them!

Weekend Clinic Policy:
Walk-in Clinic - No Appointment Needed
Patients are seen on a first come, first serve basis. There is one physician and one nurse during weekend hours, so please be patient if there are multiple children signed in ahead of you. We have toys and videos playing in the sick child waiting area.
Urgent Sick Visits Only
The weekend clinic is for children who have a fever or urgent medical need. Please make a week day appointment to discuss chronic issues that your child has been experiencing over a period of time. For emergencies please call 911 or visit your closest emergency room. Call our after hours number at (512) 323-5465 if you have an urgent need outside of our weekday or weekend hours.
New Patients
If you are not a current Pediatric Center of Round Rock patient, we will be unable to see your child at the weekend clinic. Because we need to know your child's medical history, we must first see them at a new patient visit which takes more time than we can accomodate during a weekend clinic visit. Please call (512) 733-5437 to make a new patient appointment.
