We believe that identifying children who may have health or developmental issues early is extremely important to the health and well-being of the child and their family. A child’s needs may range from an eye exam for minor vision difficulties to a full mental health evaluation.

CHILD FIND: Education Services for Children with Disabilities
The Round Rock School District is responsible for identifying and evaluating children with
known or suspected disabilities who reside or attend private school within the district’s
boundaries to determine whether a need for special education and related services

THE PATH PROJECT: PARENT ADVOCATES
PATH is a grant project, federally funded to provide training and information for parents of
children with disabilities, from the ages of 0 to 26. The goal is to empower parents by providing the resources, knowledge, skills and support they need to care for a disabled child. PATH helps parents better understand the state and federal laws and helps provide parents with the necessary skills to communicate more effectively with professionals who serve the disabled population.
